Daily chedules for:
Monday, August 8
Tuesday, August 9
Wednesday, August 10
Abstracts can be accessed by clicking on talk titles on these schedule pages.
Here is a pdf of all the abstracts, including the schedules for each day. Keep in mind that printed booklets will not be provided to participants (however free internet access is available at the conference - see below).
A check-in desk for the conference will be staffed 8 AM - 12:30 PM on Monday, August 8. If you need to check in later than this, please contact one of the conference organizers.
Free internet access on campus can be obtained by using the "attwifi" network. Please note that this is not a secure network (it does not provide wireless encryption). To connect, make sure your device's wireless networking (Wi-Fi) is turned on, and select the "attwifi" network (SSID). You may need to start your web browser to finish authenticating to AT&T.
To help orient you on campus, here are some maps that might be helpful:
- A downloadable map of the entire Indiana University Bloomington Campus, with the IN Memorial Union (where the Conference Hotel is located), Woodburn Hall (where the talks will be held), Art Museum, and Libby Library highlighted.
- A downloadable map of a portion of the IU Campus focusing just on the area surrounding the IN Memorial Union (Conference Hotel) and Woodburn Hall (where talks will be given).
- An interactive online map of the IU Campus with the IN Memorial Union ("IMU"; where the Conference Hotel is located) just to the left of center, and Woodburn Hall (where the talks will be held) just to the right of center. You can scroll around, an zoom in and out, with this map.
We are also organizing three special social events that we hope you will all attend:
- An opening reception at the Stone Age Institute with food, drink, and live music: Monday, August 8, 6:30-9:30 PM. There will be busses taking Conference participants to the Institute, which will leave the Conference Hotel at 6:30 PM, from the circle at the Hotel entrance.
- A private tour of the University Art Museum: Tuesday, August 9, 8:25-9:30 PM. Here is a short video highlighting the Museum which was designed by the famous Chinese-American architect I. M. Pei. If you wish to take the tour, please keep in mind that you must be there at 8:25 sharp - no one will be admitted late! The Museum is right across the street from where the Conference talks will be held, and is also open 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesdays-Saturdays (but not Mondays) and admission is free.
- A closing banquet in the Indiana Memorial Union (same building that houses the Conference Hotel): Wednesday, August 10, 7:00-9:30 PM
